One of our favorite local venues, the Church On York, has been denied permits by the city and must halt all music performances. They haven’t been open long but have already hosted some awesome shows and have plenty more already lined up, including two shows with Thee Oh Sees later this month. We’re hoping they get everything worked out so they can continue hosting cool-tite shows.
Owner Graeme Flegenheimer has vowed to keep fighting, and in the mean time is working with other local venues to relocate all schedules performances.
